UAC Foods Marks International Day of the Girl Child with Leadership and Mentorship Engagement

In commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child 2026, UAC Foods Limited hosted 20 members of the Queens Club from Falomo Junior and Senior High School for an inspiring leadership and mentorship engagement at its office on Tuesday, 6 October 2026.

The initiative reflects UAC Foods’ commitment to supporting the development of young people by creating opportunities for learning, mentorship and meaningful engagement that can help shape their aspirations for the future.

During the session, Managing Director of UAC Foods Limited, Mrs, Temitope Omodele shared insights from her personal and professional journey, encouraging the students to approach their ambitions with discipline, focus and consistency. She spoke about the importance of setting clear goals, managing time effectively and being intentional about the choices and habits that influence personal growth.

The students were also encouraged to build positive relationships, develop a strong sense of self-worth and remain confident in their potential, regardless of their present circumstances. The conversation highlighted the importance of continuous learning, reading widely and embracing values such as integrity, hard work, perseverance and discipline as they prepare for the opportunities and responsibilities ahead.

The engagement also featured an interactive question-and-answer session facilitated by the Corporate Affairs Team, providing the students with an opportunity to discuss their aspirations, personal development and some of the challenges young people face as they navigate school and prepare for the future.

Beyond the conversations, the visit created an opportunity for the students to experience the UAC Foods environment and engage directly with professionals whose experiences offered practical perspectives on leadership, career development and personal growth.

As part of the day’s activities, UAC Foods also provided refreshments for the students and their teachers, including  Gala Sausage Roll, Gala Chin Chin and SWAN Natural Spring Water.

Through initiatives such as this, UAC Foods continues to contribute to the development of the next generation by creating platforms that encourage young people to dream boldly, build valuable life skills and recognise the possibilities available to them.
